Friday, March 21st: Reward for today and plan for tomorrow
As you reach the final day of the 12-Day Spring Clean Your Life journey, take a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate. This challenge wasn’t about temporary changes—it was about creating a foundation for long-term well-being.
I’m guessing you didn’t get to everything in the twelve days. Am I right? The good news? These daily challenges will be here on Substack for you to review whenever you’d like.

Reflect on Your Journey
Look back at the past 10 challenges and identify which habits had the biggest impact on your energy, mindset, and overall wellness. Did you feel more energized after decluttering your space? Did the digital detox help you feel more present?
Consider what felt the most natural and rewarding to incorporate into your daily routine.
What challenges did you face? Were there areas where you struggled or that felt too overwhelming to even undertake? Acknowledging these will help you come up with solutions. Awareness is the key!
Action step: Journal about the challenges you faced and how you overcame, or plan to overcome them.
Celebrate Your Progress
Acknowledge the effort you put into decluttering, detoxing, and resetting different areas of your life. Even small actions lead to transformation!
Treat yourself—whether it’s a relaxing bath, a favorite healthy meal, or a quiet moment of gratitude.
Share your experience with a friend, family member, or community to inspire others on their wellness journey. Encouraging friends and family helps to solidify your commitment! The 12-Day Challenge will always be available on Substack. Feel free to share them!

Plan for the Future
Choose a couple of habits from each challenge that you want to continue long term. Whether it’s a weekly digital detox, a daily mindfulness practice, a regular home declutter session, or something else, commit to staying the course!
Set realistic goals. Remember, if you want to eat an apple a day, you have to buy seven apples! Will you commit to a Sunday night reset? A nightly screen-free wind-down routine? A mindful morning ritual?
Keep a wellness checklist or habit tracker to stay motivated and accountable. Adding in reminders (I use Alexa) helps to stay on track!
Be flexible! Life happens. When your schedule prevents something, don’t just give up. Reassess to determine if it’s a one-time glitch or if you might need to change your schedule. Our goal isn’t perfection, it’s designing a sustainable lifestyle.

Your spring cleaning journey doesn’t end here—it’s just the beginning of a healthier, more intentional lifestyle. As you move forward, keep embracing small, mindful changes that bring balance and joy into your life.

Remind yourself that wellness is a lifelong journey rather than a single destination. Traffic patterns change, destinations change… learn to adjust accordingly.
